- Constant Weight = depth dive with fins, no change in ballast
- Static Apnea = breathold lying still in a pool
- Dynamic Apnea = distance covered underwater in a pool
- No Limits = the diver descends without swimming using a heavily weighted "Sled" then normally ascends using a scuba tank to fill a lift bag and/or use of a winch.
